The Nokomis Lake Top is named after Nokomis lake and beach in Minneapolis, MN – my favorite place to go in the Summers when I was growing up.
Nokomis is a crop length tank top. It features a large sailor-style collar with tie detail, front button placket, and split side-seam hem.
Skills Covered:
- Bias facing
- Split hem
- Button placket
- Collar
- Under-stitching
Fabric Recommendations:
This pattern works best with light to mid-weight natural fiber fabrics. I like to use crisp fabrics that press well like cotton poplin. Other ideal choices include lightweight linens and yarn-dyed woven cottons. Avoid quilting cottons, and fabrics that are too soft and don't hold their shape well, like cotton gauze.
PATTERN INCLUDES:
- Detailed pattern instruction booklet with step-by-step illustrations
- Print-at-home PDF pattern file
- Detailed adjustment guides
- Copyshop pattern file
- Projector pattern file
- Layered files that can easily be turned off or on to isolate only your size
